Lana Del Rey Releases Song from the Upcoming ‘Big Eyes! 2014
Lana Del Rey has a cinematic musicality that belongs on movie soundtracks. Her latest film donation, the song ‘Big eye,’ is for the upcoming picture of the same name.
The track, which debuted on Yahoo!, has Lana’s autograph, old-school sound, right down to her murky vocals and stunning instrumentation.
“With your big eyes / And your big lies,” she croons, before jumping into a falsetto to sing, “Is it me / Was I wrong to have trust you? / Did I see what I sought / Which wasn’t true?”
From the clip of the song we can hear, it sound like the lyrics closely tie in to the topic of the movie. In case you haven’t seen the previews yet, ‘Big Eyes’ is an imminent biopic starring Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz. Based on a true story, the film is base on the story of artist Margaret Keane, whose iconic works was deceitfully published under the name of her then-husband, Walter Keane. Big lies for sure.
